I said both teams shot well early didn't I? I'm just perplexed why people are so down on this team for this game. I thought they played well, and I for one will give praise when praise is due. We made our first 6-7 shots, I'll take that slow start anyday,geeez Louise. Tak'n on all comers who say they had a lousy game....go time!

"UNO held in there for a bit" OK, granted, they were shooting lights out and hung in awhile til they couldn't keep it up any longer, then we buried them.....real lousy game huh. Sorry, need more convincing than that.

Did we see the same game? I saw the women hit their first 6 of seven shots, jump out and take the lead, which they never gave up and built up to a thirty five point victory. Both teams shot very high % of their FG early. The closest UNO got was 3 pts 20-17,steadily pulled away after that. UNO is last place and you could say we should have won by 50 or something, but it was a good win. Don't know why your so down on this team for this game.

I loved what I saw for all but the first 10 minutes against Omaha. If we play like we did in the second half, we win at USD. The question is which SDSU team will show up.

OK ,guess I can give you the first ten minutes, but UNO was really shooting well too, maybe better than we were, that's part of the reason we didn't pull away much sooner. The player for UNO who hit 6- 3's was unreal(Davenport). You could say we might have played better defense,and I wouldn't argue that at all.The half scores were...1st half 51-33, 2nd half 50-33...about the same.

That couch, I mean Davenport girl, really lit the Jacks up. 6-10 from 3. I think she was only averaging only 8ppg coming into the game last night. She ended up with 22.

This begs the question, why do certain players shoot well against the Jacks and not against other teams so much. We let them get real comfortable after making a couple, and let them remain comfortable and they keep hitting. I'd like to see us automatically clamp down on anyone who hits their first two from range. Don't let them get in the zone. If shooters miss a couple, they back off some. Harder to do against the player who can take it to the hoop too, like LeMar, Paige Bradley, Haley Seibert, etc.
