The Mavs are having a tough year again. They are 1-6 on the road with their only win at Milwaukee. The one senior starter is 6'4" Kelly and Bough 5'10" is the other senior starter. Currently there are 8 players averaging more than 15 minutes per game in conference. The Jackrabbits should be able to contain this team. I would hope to see the over for 1900 attendance if the students decide to come out again tonight with the mild weather. Go Jacks!!

Putting a proper beating on them now. Forcing a lot of turnovers and getting tons on rebounds. The talent gap is wide when the Jacks get rolling. The problem is the fact that they seem to forget how to do it for long periods of time.
51-33 at half.

Clarin did a great job with the 4'-6' jumpers in the paint. Often she had the need to drive the ball to the basket where she has a tendency to have rushed shots. She also kicked the ball out when deep in the paint and guarded closely or doubled. The 9 rebounds and only 2 personal fouls and 3 blocks in 23 minutes was impressive as well. This was a very good game for her. Hopefully we will see that player show up for the yotes.Best to remember these are kids and they are doing everything they can to entertain us, be scholars, and all in all be great humans. Though it started off without much to get excited about, this game did end up being just what you would want before going into a tough one at Vermillion.
- Out rebounded Omaha 48-25 and got 25 offensive rebounds.
- Six players scored 10+.
- Put up 101 points on a team that had not allowed more than 77.
- Scored 54 points in the paint.
- Forced 25 turnovers while giving up just 5.
More of this, please.

Re: GDT: JACKRABBITS VS MAVERICKS
I'd say this game was more of a team effort, with all the assists, playing smarter , taking much better shots (getting the ball to the player with the best shot) and not just throwing up wild shots (more disciplined play), and not hurting themselves with TO's and their fantastic energy allowed them to really show what this team can really do, and frankly, it's come at a good time, because this is the type of game we'll have to play to have the best chance of winning in the Dakota Dome this year. This is the way the Yotes play too.
This next game against the Yotes, and the rematch should be the best games this year.

If the Jackrabbits come out slow on Saturday its going to get ugly early. USD is top 10 in the nation in scoring and they aren't going to slow down for the Jackrabbits. Its going to be a battle in the dump.We are here to add what we can to life, not get what we can from life. -Sir William Osler

Re: GDT: JACKRABBITS VS MAVERICKS
Yes. A slow start tomorrow could easily turn into an embarrassing blowout loss. The Coyotes are favored by 1.5, and I definitely can't argue with that. In fact, that's (unfortunately) where I'd put my money if I were betting.
The strange thing is that this is the same SDSU team that won on the road at Arkansas and beat teams like BYU, MTSU, and UALR at home. Quality wins. They definitely CAN win tomorrow, but I wish I felt better about their odds. Having the game in Frost would be another story.
