  • Marist

They are a good team that started the season cold. Marist has won 5 of their last 6 game after starting the season with 4 straight losses. Its a good opportunity for the Jacks to add another quality road win. There should be a video on Jackrabbit Extra. Tip off is set for 12pm Sunday.

    Re: Marist

The Marist Red Fox will look much like the Jackrabbits. The size will be similar outside of some of their guards. They will start 3 players 6' and taller. There is also a chance the crowd will be good as they average over 1600 fans per game. They have 2 Minnesota players on the team as well. The 5 wins are over 3-8 Utah St(Jerry Finkbeiner), 5-4 Monmouth, 3-7 Boston U, 4-3 Albany, and 2-6 Rider. They are at 144 RPI as they have played and lost to Northeastern, Delaware, Baylor, St John, and Stetson. If the Jackrabbits do not have the holiday anticipation, they should be able to win this one(first win in New York for the women). Go Jacks!!

      Re: Marist

I think we are starting to become aware a little bit better of how to play with each other, knowing each other's strengths and getting them the ball when they need it, not forcing it to them when they can't do anything and forcing them to make bad decisions or take bad shots. When the team starts to know their teammates a little better and their tendencies, good things happen, confidence grows, better decisions are made. Situation awareness is improving. When it all comes together, to's fall,... the final indicator. I expect a tough game from Marist,a proud basketball program, fighters. One more tough one, then a break!!! Go Jacks!

ps Ellie Thompson will get to see her former Chaska teammate, Kendall Baab.

take care of the ball and this is a 12-point win. Don't take care of the ball and it's a dogfight

I agree, as long as we don't go hide in the corner thinking about to's and don't play our aggressive style on offense. We do that,we lose.

Some of these to's aren't the pass, it's being on the same page mentally, like throwing the pass, but the player doesn't cut fast enough.....timming mostly, maybe rushing things a little also.19-19 game

I am listening to the Red Fox radio. These guys are good announcers with a touch of the home team. They are giving credit to good plays regardless of which team.

Pre-game, the video announcers were saying that SDSU would probably win the MAAC, so there's plenty of respect going on out there.

Six point lead at half. I like our chances with this fast pace. Depth comes in handy with an up-and-down, fast break game.
