          Re: SDSUvs NSU exhibition

NSU has a good team. They are #25 in the DII ratings. They can move the ball well and shot pretty well. Every time Alexander came into the game at point, they would post the freshman up and get the easy bucket. Alexander played defense well enough away from the lane, but she was an easy target playing man to man down low. Miller continues to play like a veteran. She will be a handful for anyone to play one on one either defensively or offensively. Waytashek was hitting open 3's. The extra offensive depth will open up her offensive game and she is still a great passer. When Clarin went to the bench early in the first half, Thompson and Ober and Stuart filled in well. Stevens shifted to the 3 a few times today when Thompson was playing. Stevens is running the court better than last year. Chloe played solid in her minutes at point and at the off guard. Walters played tough defense in her minutes while struggling to get her 3 pt shot down. The Summit Sixth Player of the Year last year(Kerri Young) turned in 12 pts, 5 rebounds, 4 assists, and 3 steals in a quiet way.
Best to remember these are kids and they are doing everything they can to entertain us, be scholars, and all in all be great humans. Jackedforlife

I sure didn't know Ellie could shoot the three like she showed today,2-2.We've been pretty blessed with post players who can shoot the three ball, Ober, Stevens, Stuart, Thompson, past players like Sunnarborg, Boever, Warkenthein, Strop etc. How about Macy Miller,3-4 today. She said she was going to work on her three point shooting, guess she meant it. Nice to have people come around and hit some when our regular shooters are struggling a little. They'll come around I'm sure. Clarin, Young, and Waytashek had a good game too.

Solid win against a good lower level program, and everyone got playing time.

Sounds like a great day in Frost.
