I can tell you this much, the crowd should not be a factor today. I walked up 5 minutes ago and got a first-row ticket (football seats). Maybe 2000 in here with 6:00 to go. Maybe.

That is clearly at least 1000 too high.

Solid win by the Jacks. Nothing flashy, but they held the lead for all but a minute or two. Too much depth, height, and speed for USD to overcome without either a perfect game or a horrible shooting performance by SDSU. We do know that can happen.

Standby for a likely rematch on Monday afternoon at the Arena!

This is probably as well as USD can play. I don't think they can play much better offensively. Defensively, they've given up a lot of points all conference season.

they do count being in the vicinity of the dome when figuring attendance. so if your staying at the Holiday Inn Express across the street you were technically at the game

SDSU 99, USD 88. Final. SDSU (22-8, 13-1) will face USD/WIU in the semifinals on Monday, March 10. SDSU also clinched the SD Corn Showdown title.
