Top 4 are no brainers. I think the 5 spot is harder to define. We have had a lot of talented women play for us. My bigger question, could Jenn and Megan be switched? It has to at least be pretty close between the 1 and 2 spots.

I thought a lot about having Heather Seiler on the top 5 also. Haven't been many point guards that were better.

No argument from me. I loved Andrea Verdegen at point as well. She is the best point Jacks have had in Summit league era. She could break a press on her own and shot the lights out.

I forgot about Seiler. She was a pure athlete. I loved watching her play.

What career marks does shehold? Assist and steals? Or close to it. She was fun to watch.

I have no idea. I'm awful with number so I just watch and enjoy each player. I count on places like this to tell me about the numbers. I remember watching Heather and Cherise Thompson from RCS battle it out on the track for several years in high school. Both of them were a couple of thoroughbreds, incredible runners. I also remember when Heather went down with a knee injury during the basketball season in high school. Her Dad came down to check on her and the referee made the mistake of being in the vicinity. Papa Seiler lit him up about the lack of whistles and his daughters injury. I guarantee that ref never got near another injured player again. She recovered and was a part of several great Jackrabbit teams.

Vogel, Workenthein, Pater, Schlagel, Verdegan, Sealer, Davis, Kurtenbach, Stevensen - YES all great Jackrabbits. Plus, I think they could have all played at the D1 level - Vogel and Workenthein proved it. But, we will never know about all of them or other Jackrabbits. So, my point may be that this should be two different lists for D11 and D1. Some of the already mentioned would certainly be on both lists. But, D1 is a different animal. Again, take nothing away from the mentioned great players but none that I know of were ever recruited by a D1 school not in transition? Vogel - maybe? Correct me if I am wrong about the recruiting comment. That said, all the players mentioned could play on my team. Its been a great 10+ year ride.

I think pater proved we could take it to the next level. She was imho the first of a long string women players who showed they were great regardless of the division they played at the time. Let's look at the current team to some of the greats. Strop and shlagel were similar type players and no offense to strop if you had to pick one Schlagel gets the nod. Waytashek and Davis are similar. That's maybe a toss up considering waytashek has a year to go. I guess they way I see it if you put those top five against any of our D-1 teams I like those legends over all. Needless to say we have been spoiled by um.

The one player that seems to be missing from people's list is Maria Boever. She may not have had the career totals as some of the others, but was such a good player and hit her fair share of big shots over four years.

However, I do think Vogel, Schlagel, Pater, Warkentien, and Davis are in a league of their own.

She's like 6th women off the bench. I totally agree.

Jill Young, maybe not athletic enough for this list, but she gave us that consistency shooting three's.She must have shot somewhere around 40% or more for her career .Undoubtably the best three point shooter, has the school and Summit League record.Honorable mention maybe.

Watching her and rotert bomb 3 were a lot of fun. They could launch um from anywhere on the court.
