The Leathernecks are led by last year's freshman of year Ashley Luke. She averages a double double of nearly 20 points and about 12 boards a game and she averages 2.7 steals. The team averages 82 points per game, but they have tallied over 100 points a couple of times against lower division teams. They handled Omaha last week on the road 84-62. Luke has some experienced players on the team with her, but there are only 9 players in the box score this far into the season. The first 6 will be on the floor most of the game which might test the endurance with the substitution by the Jackrabbits.

Run them out of the gym by going 12-deep. Back on the road tonight. By my count, we've only picked up one true road win this year. Hopefully that number picks up quickly starting tonight.

Western Ill is smart in this type of game....nothing fancy, just getting shots off, some falling...instead of trying to play spectacular, and getting nothing...behind by four

Wow as bad as we've played, to be in the game say's we should be able to win this game.....W.Ill gaining confidence the more inept (sp?) we look.

26-19.....worst performance I've seen,bumbling,fumbling,not even close threes.Whats the diff playing at home and on the road......shouldn't be this much...crazy...not the same team,uniforms the same ,the team.....no...I'm going to quit posting...nothing nice to say gets old,don't want to do it anymore.....someone take over....1-11 three point shooting Awful ,rushing everything .score W Ill 30-21......35-25 at half

I'm glad I'm not watching this one! It sounds like a mess. What happened to this team? They seem to be a shadow of what they were a month ago.

Quite a finish teams trade leads 3 times in the last minute. Jacks take lead for final time with4 seconds left. Win by 1. Monkey off their backs? Hope so.
