I am sure the superior status of the Horizon is running on fumes. There has been much change in the Summit and much change in the Horizon among teams that have left and entered each conference. At this point, the addition on the Oakland women does not rocket the talent level in the near future. As the UMKC and Oakland teams moved on, I would guess that the yotes, mavs, and soon to be ORU additions strengthen the women side The same could be said for the Horizon men's side which lost Butler and others in recent years. The Horizon has a notion that being a bus conference is good, but quality could suffer as it waters down the competition.

Mariah Clarin with 15 boards I remember someone telling me that she may not be as good on the boards as I had claimed. Great game for Mariah! (28 minutes)

No surprise the Jacks win a game where Heiser scores 13. AJ may want to consider his rotation. He doesn't have the best players on the court when he should. Just my opinion.

Interesting and fun read about Coach Johnston turning down the Green Bay job a while back....

Heiser gives a scoring threat and a spark off the bench. Its not like she's not getting minutes. I like AJs rotation and hope it doesn't change it. If I had to change 1 thing it I would want AJ to play Stuart a little more. She has a lot of talent and great post moves and has some range. Do you want Heiser to start? What would you do to the lineup?

Re: GDT: SDSU vs Green Bay

We will need all the weapons on Wednesday when Penn State will be playing their second road game of the season. PSU(6-2) has been defeated by UConn and Notre Dame this year and they are currently rated #10 in the polls. If someone wanted to see a game with good competition, this game might be on your radar for a trip to Frost. Go Jacks!!

Penn State also beat Georgetown by only 9 points on the road (Jack beat GU by 6). They are defiantly beatable especially since the game is in Frost. It looks like Penn State only has 1 shooter. In the GU game Megan Lucus was 5-12 from 3 while the rest of the team was 0-5. If we don't lay an egg in the 1st like we did against Stanford and play a complete game it will come down to the wire. Last season we got beat by 10 at their place and we shot 31% (They were ranked #11 at the time). We also played around the same time last year as well. This game should give a good indication if this years team is better than last years team at this point in the season. This game is winnable.
