PV Game 2: Jacks see Cardinal

Jacks scheduled a perennial top 5 team in a neutral setting, and today's the day for that game.

Stanford comes in 6-1, and Tara VanDerveer becomes fifth coach with 900 wins with win over FGCU 83-59.


No information from any Stanford site that I can find about the game. Also no fan site (of the Stanford WBB) that I can find.


Pray for a good showing by Rabbits, and hopefully, a post-900th victory sluggish performance by the Cardinal. Will be settling in for Thanksgiving dinner with family, but hope that the Rabbits feast on Cardinal.

This is the game where the fundamentals will be important. That would be position and effort for rebounds, position and effort for defense, and squaring up on the open shots. It sounds simple. Turnovers might need to be half of the normal (or make good passes). Go Jacks!!

We are due for a good shooting game again,it makes the game go so much easier, obviously ,when the ball can find the center of the hoop.If it looks like an upset brewing,you can count on the Cardinal doubling their efforts,as a loss will really hurt their ranking.These high profile games are what it's all about for the players,to show case the program and individual talents as well.Good luck Jacks!

we need for the refs to swallow their whistles and let them at least play without fear of fouling out. yea get the obvious stuff called but leave the piddley ass calls theyve been calling alone. such as barely touching someone.

Nope. Jacks have 4 fouls in 2 minutes/3 defensive series. Tied 2-2.
