SDSU starts off their 2013 Puerto Vallarta Hardwood Tournament of Hope games with a favorite, Horned Frogs.
The last (and only) time these teams played was as the first NCAA tourney victim to the Jackrabbits. Wednesday’s game marks the second meeting between the Jackrabbits and the Horned Frogs. SDSU defeated TCU 90-55 in the first round of the NCAA Tournament March 22, 2009, in Lubbock, Texas. Where then frosh Jill Young (Sargent) led a rain of 3's that had the Horned Frogs looking like road kill in the 1st 10 min.
Fast forward 4.5 years, and the Horned Frogs are 4-1 after opening their Puerto Vallarta trip with a 68-47 win over FL Gulf Coast. http://gofrogs.cstv.com/sports/w-bas...112613aaa.html is the TCU official write up on the game. The Horned Frogs were picked to finish eighth in the preseason Big 12 Conference coaches poll. TCU returns four starters, eight letterwinners, and adds two transfers and four newcomers.

Looking forward to making the NYC to DC trip listening to another Jackrabbit squashing Horned Toads broadcast. TCU is now a part of the Big 12, but picked 8th of 10. Would be great to tack another BCS hide to the Jacks trophy wall.
