Pretty excited to see what this team can do. It iwas so many who can contribute its gonna be an exciting year. Should be a great confrence race for sure.

One of the best things to realize with a game like this-it is that there are many pieces in this team to weather the storm of fouls that could be called this year. 51 fouls tonight was very creative calls by officials. The depth and the intensity of this group may be ready to outlast the referees and the rule changes. At this point there are many stepping up to make the team a cohesive unit. It seems the person taking the shot is irrelevant and everyone takes a shot as it presents the open look. The post play continues to mature quickly as well. The next 3 games in Mexico should bring more growth. Chloe said in the post game interview that next week is a business trip. Go Jacks!

Gabby should get to the top 12 this year for career steals. currently she is at about 125 and she needs to get to 185 for top 12. She made the challenge early with 2 quick steals from the point guard bringing the ball across the midcourt. She has quick move that surprises the opposition.

I'm really anxious for the Stanford game. I want to see how we stack up against one the best teams in the nation. Also FGCU is in the top 10 in the mid-major poll. It's defiantly going to be a fun, tough road trip!
Could tell that it was a good, dominating game by the Rabbits. Even Coach AJ was stretched back in his chair watching some of the Frosh players make turnovers, and fouls in the last 4 mins of the game. Didn't even phase him enough to sit forward and yell.
Rabbits were REALLY on a roll last night. Crisp, timely passes to streaking in players, LOTS of steals, rebounding box outs, just a really complete game. And other than Megan W's great clicking, all the rest of the team were interchangable in their performance.
Puerto Vallerta tourney will be a fabulous measuring stick. 0-3, not what we expect of this team, 1-2 are we there?, 2-1, especially if good tight game vs Stanford, should be a "great year", 3-0, take down Stanford, will they be getting top 25 looks?

We had been planning to be in Mexico for the tourney but circumstances will not allow it. Had a great time with the team, parents and fans in Cancun a couple of years ago. We will be listening and cheering from Yankton.
Great, dominating performance from a team that is at full strength. My only concern is with the 3-point shooting, it was terrible last night (3-19). It had been really good before that. Expecting that was just a blip in the road. In order to compete with BCS programs that have bigger, faster, and stronger athletes the Jacks need to be sharp outside the 3-point line.

We do not see things as they are, we see things as we are.
The thing I like about this team is the versitility, the players don't have to take a bad shot, there's always someone open to pass it off to who has a better look.As a result, we score much more consistently, always in the game, and if the other team falters, we can surge ahead. We are playing great defense so far. This team has really bought into working hard translates into winning games concept.Fun to watch them get better and better.

First off, agree with this.I think the NCAA stats will be posted for first time this Mon.They started posting last yr on that day.I was going to chk out 3 pt shooting as a team stat, because i thought we'd be pretty high.Last night took care of that. This team does everything as a team it seems...shoot good, they all shoot good, shoot bad, they all shoot bad....j/kidding,but i think we were just off last night for whatever reason.
Something must be going onwith the defense against the opponents. BYU and Georgetown shot more points, but the rest of the games were lower scores. SDSU is averaging 74 while the other teams are averaging 65.5. The fresh legs may have resulted in more intense defense. Let's hope that the games next week continue to keep opponents with lower scores.

For perspective... Pepperdine came into last night's game having only one loss (by 5 to UCLA). Among their wins was UC Irvine, who is 3-1 and has beat both USD and Denver. The jacks had Pepperdine beat before the first media timeout. Not bad.
