JJ says head injury? I really don't know.
On the replay it looked like she hit her head hard on the floor.

Ok. I didn't see the replay and it first looked like she just went down without much contact.

The replay showed her feet tangled and down she went on the turn. I could not say she hit her head, but she was not grabbing a knee or favoring the knee when they put her in the wheelchair. She was very still for quite awhile.

UNI beat UND at Cedar Falls. The Yotes are playing UND today. The Panthers are going to struggle this year. The Jackrabbits definitely had many different lineups today. The calls were very tight by the refs. UNI had a terrible day shooting whether it was a contested shot or not. There were very few turnovers by the Jackrabbits today. Jessica Hart saw her first action in Frost this year.

The replay showed she passed the ball off as she was falling down, and couldn't then break her fall and yes,her head hit the floor.Hope she's going to be alright, looks to me to be a concussion type injury.

Hope we work on stopping the dribble drive to the hoop. That little quick gaurd of theirs really penetrated too easily and gave us fits.

The small guard #23 was the only thing that slipped through with any regularity. As close as the calls went, it could have been stopped otherwise. They did score 44 points on us.

FWIW - UNI was picked to finish third in the Missouri Valley this season, behind Indiana State and Wichita State.

The box score says 1,512 in attendance today.

I don't think you can stop any dribble drive? Everytime someone puts it on the floor and goes to the hoop a foul is called. Really sad, simply cannot have any contact without touch fouls being called.

I was actually dissappointed in UNI. This is one of the poorer UNI teams I have seen. They are in for a long year.

Good win for the Jacks. They dominated a team and everyone got to play.

Steph Paluch name Player of the Week for the Summit women. The year off has not been too bad. Way to go Steph!

                          Re: GDT:Jackrabbits vs. Panthers

UNI WBB has notched W's over UND and NDSU so far, and UND has beaten USD. So the dominant win vs UNI combined with the other Dakota schools losses are boding well for SDSU in Summit play. USD host UNI in WBB on 12/10, but right now, it's looking like UNI will be 3-1 vs the Dakota schools.

A good win for the Jacks!

Tonight, time to take down some Waves.
