Has Megan played at Mount Vernon/Plankinton only? There was one site that had her at Viborg/Hurley.

AJ just tweeted "it's a great day to be a Jackrabbit". So reports must be accurate

Just out of curiosity, what's the tallest woman to ever play for the Jacks?

TV has her listed at 6'3 on his tweet today. AJ is really filling out those future rosters. Pretty amazing.

Cala Westergard was listed at 6-3 on the 2008-2009 roster, don't know of anyone taller than that.

Didn't need a lot of tall that season.Thought I read where 2008-2009 was best team ever for 3 pt shots made for a season, but now can't find it again to verify. They made a lot,if not the most anyway.

That year, they made 291-811 for 35.9% as a team while only allowing opponents 106-358 for 29.6%

Since I seam to be in an analytical mood, after 2008-2009,the teams following that yr shot the 3 ptr even better percentage wise, but fewer attempts (til Jill Young graduated anyway, she always shot a high percentage)
We started recruiting taller players, and started going more to the higher percentage shots inside. The three pointer will always be a big part of our offense, since historically,we've been very good at it.But i see a trend of taller players for an inside game, with the threat of the three by high percetage shooters on the perimeter, who can nail down a three ,or drive to the hoop. I think our offense is very balanced, not depending on three point shooting or inside play exclusively, but combining the two for a more diverse offensive threat.this is a bunch of goblygook for jus say'n we can shoot the three and play the inside game too.Which makes us better.

Looking at this year's roster, it appears Anne Aamlid is not on the team following last year's concussions. She was not as tall as I thought. Some of the history for the 90's is no longer detailed on the GoJacks site.

                  Don't know about tallest player ever,but the start of the 2015-2016 season,we're projected to have on the roster,6'3" Bultsma(fr),6'2" Mieras(fr),6'2" Ober(jr) ,6'2" Flaata(jr),6"2"Thompson(so).Pretty sure we'll have the tallest roster ever in SDSU womens basketball history.Plus Severyn 6ft,Young 6ft,Miller 6ft,Stevens 6ft,Palmer 5-11,.....WOW!
