And even if you don’t achieve them, it shows longevity, and it shows commitment. And those are both things you need for the rest of your life,” Tony Fiegen

                        Re: Oakland GDT

OK my rant. Since TV exclusivity clauses came out we who do not live in the exclusivity area are screwed from being able to watch this tournament. When the Jacks first started we were able to get a subscription from the Summit league to watch online, worked out great even with Jumptv in charge. Now MidcoSportsnet has the contract along with FoxCollegeSports. Now no internet video. If you are not a subscriber to Midco or a provider that carries FCS oh well, good luck to you. I went to our local Buffalo Wild Wings and the bartender couldn't find the game. Tried one channel I believe 623 and it was blacked out for this area. Michigan, fifty miles from OU. I know Fox Sports network affiliates only carry what is of interest to them. So there was a lot of the ACC and other tournaments on all the channels plus their SportsPlus channels. I wrote an email to Douple complaining of this and hope those of you who were also screwed from viewing would also. Exclusive contracts should not exclude half the fan base of the schools from seeing their teams play.

I was impressed with Jacki Francis the OU coach. She had some real issues to deal with in life and its amazing how she came through it all. The OU team is young and talented. AJ be ready for some battles down the road.

This block on the streaming is BS. If you got the money to pay the streaming fee, why block it from those like Sturgis and myself, who would gladly pay. Fortunately I am in MediaComm land, and paying the subscription fee has proven to be worth it.

her name is Becki Francis. Tough position for the AD at Oakland if he ever wanted to make a coaching change. The President of Oakland Univ is Becki Francis' husband.

I knew I would get it wrong. Sorry Becki, and as long as your hubby does not screw up, looks like you got a job. She has earned her coaching job IMHO. No question she knows how to recruit and play the game. She said she was trying to match up her freshman with SDSU Seniors, Lingle and Eide and they started out strong but experience took over so she said in the press conference. She hopes to come back and knock off SDSU down the road.
