    Re: Kansas City-GDT

Umkc 1 point from winning the confrence tourny last year to getting doubled up on the home court. Losing kim lasagana didn't help any so far with injury.

Gabby had 2 quick fouls in first half which brought Tara in to the point a couple of times to spell Chloe(good game). That worked against Roos. Some of the other reserves like Mariah some full speed experience in the rotation was good as Mariah was playing good defense and finishing on her layups. She also found 2 quick blocks early. Ashley was able to make others shine with ball movement and good rebounding.(Who would guess we would ever have such a large advantage on boards-about +30!)It was a solid game for most of the women tonight. Katie still getting back to game condition. Megan Stuart played solid the second half for about 10 minutes. She had a couple early problems getting too far under and not throwing ball back out, but she found flow of game and shot some foul shots as well. The zone gave the women a little trouble early, but they found shots and started to run the ball when they could which overwhelmed the Roos. Great defense. Congratulations to AJ on 300.

300 wins. We've been very fortunate to have AJ at SDSU this long. Give that guy (another) raise ASAP!

Nice job taking care of business tonight Jacks!

I realize UMKC was without their best player, but we just clobbered a team that many considered 2nd best in the conference coming into this season...oh yah, and Eide only had 4 pts and we still put up 82. Best of luck to the rest of the conference.

This was a better workout and a better outcome. It could get boring with games like this, but it certainly was a clinic as the Jacks got the mojo going.

              GO JACKS!
