I just saw a job listing for Asst Wmn BB Coach (DIV 1) listed in the Brkgs job service web site. I am assuming that is for SDSU. Is this an addition to what SDSU has, or is the Asst coach leaving SDSU? Or other explanation...

Re: Wmn BB Asst coach opening
Dear AJ,
-7th grade "pig" champion
-8th grade "pig" runner-up (ball wasn't regulation size)
-9th grade "horse" champion, A division
- I've played alot of pick-up games, beating my little brother everytime.
I'm a pretty big deal, one would be a fool not to hire me.

thanks again for the clarification.
what is your source?[/quote]

It seems that some remain confused about the "rumor rule". Let me post it again as an opportunity to help the board community understand it.
Originally posted by filbertIf you feel the urge to spread rumors about players (in any sport) leaving SDSU, CITING YOUR SOURCE IS NOW REQUIRED.
Acceptable sources are: Printed or broadcast news media (or web sites of printed or broadcast news media), coaches, and players on the team, or other person, BY NAME. No other sources will be acceptable on this board. Some unnamed person you talked to in the Union, in HPER, or anywhere else is not an acceptable source. Other Internet boards and blogs are not acceptable sources.
Failure to cite your source will result in the post and/or the thread being pulled and, quite possibly, depending on how the Moderator's day is going, the rumor-monger getting banned permanently from this board.
Note also that spreading the rumor in the form of a question (i.e. ""Did anybody hear the rumor that Joe Player is leaving the team?" or "What happens if Joe Player leaves the team?" falls under this rule. Any other methods of rumor-mongering which in the opinion of the Moderators is not properly sourced falls under this rule.
This board is intended to SUPPORT SDSU athletics. Unsourced rumors about SDSU student-athletes are destructive to the morale of the team and the entire SDSU community, and as such do not support SDSU athletics.
No need to source rumors about upcoming schedules, what you heard about Minnesota Vikings training camp, or who is going to play on an AAU team (along with many other topics). This rule is very focused by design. This rule is designed to protect the current student athletes at our university from having to deal with unsubstantiated rumors (it has happened way too many times). If anyone has questions, or comments please feel free to contact either myself or filbert (many of you have) and we can answer specific questions. I hope this clarifies this very unobtrusive rule.
jacks r us, this is the second time I have tried to explain this to you specifically. Are you trying to be funny or do my explanations need further refinement?

In case your "what is your source" comments are directed to my original question, As I stated it was a job listing (today) in the "Brookings Job Service Web Site" otherwise now known as "Brookings One stop Career Center". I was looking for clarification, there was no rumor on my end.
Thank you

Re: Wmn BB Asst coach opening
Correct me if I'm wrong, but we are one assitant short on both our men's and women's BB programs. I think we have to add assistants due to some MidCon stipulation.LET'S TAKE A TRIP TO BIRDLAND! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=68-6O2mJhMw
