That'll probably do it. Strop back to the line. Still 62-56 but only :21 left. Strop hits both. 64-56 Jacks.

I'm impressed with how the team fought back from the huge hole they dug early. Starting a road game against a BCS school like that should have left them dead in the water.

RealTimeRPI had Georgetown's RPI at 27. SDSU's was 93. For reference, Penn State was 10, Nebraska was 44.

Look for SDSU's RPI to get a nice boost here--road win and all.

The game is easier when your shots are falling--especially the 3's.

this game started like a repeat of Cinn. last year. what a great effort, Ashley Eide-----amazing, clutch threes when needed. That's what a senior does. Men (Jacks) learn something from these Ladies.

Took awhile though. I think we only hit 3 threes in the first half.

True, but I think those shots started to fall because of the grit, intensity, and fearlessness that this team seems to have. They could have packed it in early on today. Their technical skills may come and go (especially when it comes to turning the ball over) but they do seem to have the mental ability to battle it out and overcome. I agree with SturgisJeff, that's exactly what I have not seen from the men's team.

Winning this game without Lingle is even more impressive. That RPI better take a big jump.

                            Dang.

And here I was getting ready to have a Bisonvillian style good old fashioned meltdown.

Because, you know, that's what makes supporting college athletics fun! Trashing a bunch of people that are in their late teens and early 20s, doing stuff I couldn't do, on a message board.

I was ready to just rip into the women for losing to a tough team on the road, and question their heart, their character, their dining etiquette and the general cut of their jib.

Would someone let me know when it'll be safe for me to spend an hour or two of my life picking over the remnants of a game I didn't see in person, involving people I don't know well?

More seriously, this is a fantastic win for the women.

don't know about youall but I have tears of joy in my eyes still. This game made up for a lot of frustration about this team and I for one am sooo effing proud of them.
