Dietel gets a basket and a foul. 68-53 at the final media, 2:29 left. Dietel at the line.

I think Eide had 25, Waytashek had 15, and Dietel had a double double with 16 pts and 10 boards.

Not a good "tune up" before going to Georgetown, raised more questions than it provided answers, but a win is a win.

That was a pretty major brainfart to go from 23-10 up to tied at 30 all........

Nice win. Not able to listen but sounded like we were in control except for that 10 minute stretch.

                    Any word or Lingle?

yeah, i live 90 miles away and have searched the radio. thought 1480 out of watertown was listed as to carry games. wouldn't matter too much though, as it doesn't come in at night (only 50 miles away). as mentioned before, have listened to jacks for years on the radio (wnax). that's all pretty much out the window now---except, i can catch day games on 910. comes in good enough to listen during that period.

One suggestion for the radio feed, you can get the iJacks app if you have a smartphone. Live audio is only available on the premium version, but it's just a one time fee.

In the SF area 104.1 has carried the last couple of women's games. I'm not sure if they carry all of them nor do I know how far out the reception is.

I will be in Florida on Friday and I will be depending on updates from this board. Thanks in advance for those who might be listening to the game.

I agree that was an ugly part of the game. I'm trying to remember if Megan was in there at all during that stretch. I think that Ashley was out for some of that time, also. You take those 2 out (with Lingle) and you have your best 3 players out for most/all of that stretch. AJ waited until it was tied up before he brought Megan back in. Ashley was in there well before that though.
Three players(Megan, Ashley and Leah) made 15 of our 18 baskets. If you add Katie's baskets to that group and the rest of the team only made one basket(Strop's basket). The rest of the team just had a rough night. Hopefully there aren't many more nights when that many players struggle all at once.

They called a foul with about a minute left and the other teams coach called the official over to tell him that her players weren't supposed to be fouling. I think she should have called her team in and told them to not body up since the game was over.
I know this doesn't mean much but I wasn't real impressed with Chloe chucking up a 3 point shot with a few seconds left(and no shot clock) when the game is in hand. If it was Jessica I would have minded since she doesn't get much playing time but I would have preferred if Chloe would have just kept the ball on the other side of half court and ran the clock out. The other team got the rebound and their coach told them not to shoot. We have discussed this and I know some people are of the mindset that if they don't want us to score, they should stop us.

It was a win and I'm sure they will learn something from it and move on.
