Wondering about adjustments AJ will make for the second half....we can knock off a ranked team this afternoon.

Jacks have flopped coming out of the locker room for the 2nd half; outscored 7-0 in the first two and a half minutes of the second half.

down by 12. megan and ashley 6-25 at this point. team is 13-47. ouch. good defense overall since psu averages 75/game. 47-35 with 7 to go. i can hear that gal singing.

50-39 under 5 minutes. It will take PennState to allow some quick easy baskets to pull this one out. It has been a solid game except our shooting was not on par today. Big team must bother us in addition to the 9 blocks by psu. We will be supporting the Jacks on Tuesday.

If there is such a thing as an impressive loss, this would be it. 60-50, final.

Penn State came into this game averaging 75 points per game. They have five seniors. They're sitting at 11 & 10 in the AP & Coaches polls.

The Jacks played PSU as tough as just about any team outside the top ten will play them.

And you know what? I'm going to play the 'moral victory' card.

That was a game that no player or coach needs to apologize for, on either side of the ball.

Did the Jacks lose? Yes.

But that's not the most important thing at stake here. It never is. These are college students playing a kid's game. Should this game be such a meat-grinder for the players, that we can't acknowledge first class effort, without being ragged for 'everybody-wins-a-trophy'-ism?

Yes. This was a moral victory. The Jacks took their measure against a legitimate top 15 program, and acquitted themselves admirably.

Last chance at a Big East win this year (or ever?) comming up against Georgetown,got to get that monkey off our back.Not really ever, as i just read the "seven" can't leave til 2015 without paying penalty.I also think we get them at home next year.

Fantastic game for the women.They played hard.Hope we get the shooting % up ,and still give the effort we have the last few games on defense,we'll be a great team then,but we are good now.
