        Boever hits 1st of 1-1, misses 2nd. 4 pt lead. Jacks up 4. Eide to line for 2. Gets 2nd. Up 5, under 18 sec. Final TO by NIU. Jacks ball after misses by NIU.

            Eide at line.....misses ,hits ....5 pt lead :58-53 :18 left .....NIU ball......tough game....NIU home opener,home opener against Central Mich nxt Fri too! Boever fouled for 2 with 3 pt lead.....final 59-58, NIU hits three at buzzer.....wow, who says free throws aren't important.

              12-21 from the FT line nearly loses this one for us....but we made enough for this game anyway

                Happy Thanksgiving for SDSU women on the road.
                Best to remember these are kids and they are doing everything they can to entertain us, be scholars, and all in all be great humans. Jackedforlife

                  Not pretty but we won. Think this sounds like another salty defensive team. Wish the offense would be a little sharpwr but I will take it.

                    I think we'll be in every game henceforth,seems we've developed a mental toughness to win the close games and stay in position to win by staying ahead or justa few pts down.Also, like to wish everyone a happy Thanksgiving also along with OldHare.

                      The Jacks teams of the past were getting contributions throughout the line up. We would often go 9 or 10 deep and they would be effective. This team in order to be another NCAA tournament team will need some help from the bench. Strop, Walters, Stewart, Corneman will need to contribute and I think they will. The win at NIU was a big one. Central Michigan will be another big time test and if it happens another quality win for the Jacks.
