      That's a fact:

USD & Georgia lost on Saturday and Nebraska and New Mexico State lost on Sunday (BTW: Georgia & New Mexico State were both top ten teams in equestrian)georgia_bulldog_logo.gifNebraskaLogo2.jpgNew_Mexico_State_Aggies.jpgsdak-12-logo.png

Congrats to Ashley. Nice recognition for Ashley and the Jackrabbit team. Wins over teams from big 10 and pac 12 is an excellent start to the season. Wish I had an explanation for what happened to the Jacks vs Creighton?

A major difference may have been that the coaching staff, which had been instituting some changes in the way this team operates, decided after the Creighton game to move back into the traditional 1 out, 4 in of the past few years. AJ credited that for putting the players back into a mode they were used to executing. As to TO's, I was at the game and it was an intense, high pressure game by both teams. On TV's live chat (which I read after the game), he was counting our TO's, but he and the other posters never noted how many Nebraska had, and in the end they were almost even. And our TO's were offset a lot by our domination on the boards. I'm not too sure how good Nebraska really is (15th ranked), but I wouldn't want to judge them on one game, just like I wouldn't want our team judged on their Creighton loss. GO JACKS!!!

Turnovers were dead even,20 to 20 Rebounds 35-23 Jacks, 13-7 Offensive rebounds favor Jacks also.

I got my info on TO's from box score of rivals.com ,TV's article in Argus contradicts this with his 19-18 figure, either way,it was very close or even.I think Terry uses the official numbers off the official score sheet.

It is a great outlook for the women at this point. We should be happy that it is a reload rather than rebuild year. If anyone saw the Creighton game, you know that will be one of the better teams this year. There are a few more teams that will be tough i.e. Penn State or Middle Tennessee to name a couple. It is hard to imagine there will be quicker teams. At this point, I am sure that we have a very competitive team and I will enjoy watching them progress. It was a great atmosphere in Frost on Sunday. Maybe we will see a few more students attend the women games as the season moves on.
Best to remember these are kids and they are doing everything they can to entertain us, be scholars, and all in all be great humans. Jackedforlife

The turnovers were the same but we had 12 steals compared to the 7 the Huskers had. Those steals had a way of turning into easy points in the earlier games, so it ws nice to get some of those layups off of steals work for us instead of against us.
