Megan Waytashek looked really good in the first half. Amazing what she can do when she's fully healthy.

It's fun to get back to a team that can push the ball up the floor. I realize the competition wasn't the best, but we still seem to have stepped up the pace a couple of notches. Looks more like the days when Macie,Maria and Jenn were playing

Clarin was something to watch. I just focused on her for a few minutes and she's "as advertised" by AJ. Very athletic...good control. Clearly a stronger, more mature player over last year and she was very good last year.

This may be a year in which we do not have a standout player but when it comes time for the Summit Tourney and post-season play, this balanced squad may go down as one of the, or perhaps THE, best ever. It was fun to watch them go to work.

We are going to absolutely boat race some Summit teams this year with this style of play. We have 2 true point guards (Gabby & Chloe) and if teams try to pressure us like in years past, instead of a turnover it's gonna be a lay-up fest for the Jacks. Easily the deepest and most athletic Jacks team ever, IMO.

There is always GoJacks.com to listen and watch on. I live in Michigan and thats my option. The picture aint the best and you have to deal with internet issues, like buffering, depending on your speed but at least you get to watch and listen.
You can buy by the game month or year. I do the monthly and cancel it after the last basketball game they play in April.

my sentiments exactly!!! it was soooo nice to be able to turn to WNAX for the women's games. i listened to approx half of the first half on the volga station before it started to get to the point where listening was just too painful (as in, station was being overtaken by other station).

Not sure why they don't have the women on WNAX when there is not a mens game going on at the same time. This whole mirror scheduling thing is going to be one huge pain-in-the-a**. Hopefully it will be a one season and done situation.

Here's some links to online radio stations, don't know if they'll work for you, because I was going to test them out during the last exhibition games, and i got nothing but musical programing .But here they are anyway KBRK 93.7FM Brookings,

At least when you're home ,you might be able to listen this way on you're computer.I'm a little bit worried this didn't work for the exhibition games though.According to gojacks, the games are supposed to be carried by these stations .Maybe they can't do live programing online,we'll find out for sure this basketball season with the dreaded "mirror" scheduling.Does JJ go to all the away games this yr?This yr is really screwed up.

I've tried streaming online and through a radio ap I have on my cell phone for football this season and it hasn't worked. I looked into it and it is because Learfield (sp?) has the rights and only allows the games to be broadcast over the regular radio or you have to pay for the aforementioned services on gojacks. Not ideal, but it is what it is.

A quick report for those not able to hear or see the game. The women that appear to be the front line players still looked solid such as the starters and Chloe and Katie and Tara. The next most improved player could be Megan Stewart. she has improved her footwork a bunch from last year. Rachel W has not been in the flow yet even though she has been on the court some, but I am sure she will be there. Hannah was in street clothes last night. The next 2 games in Minneapolis should smooth a few more things out as well since there should be better defenses to attack with our offense. It will be interesting to see how our offensive rebounding fares next weekend.
