Argh. Rebounding. Sunny looks out of sync. Lingle a few baskets.

Walters hits another 3! That'll get us back in it quick. The pace just took off the last couple of minutes.

During the break: Oops...one San Diego slip but the guy caught it right away, calling it a "freudian slip" because it's so hot in the arena.

Terry Vandrovec also noted it's real hot in there.

Heat will have an impact .... I think we have a better bench.

Guyton, Purdue's big, picks up her second foul and goes to the pine board.

That's good to hear. No tv coverage for me. Hopefully they make a good game of it and ESPN's whiparound picks it up.

Lingle brings us within 2. Purdue timeout.

                            Purdue 38, SDSU 33 and we're under a minute...media timeout.

Both teams playing well. Purdue's two guards are real pesky on defense but we seem to be adjusting. One of the guards, Houser, tweaked her knee and was out for a few minutes but she seems to be fine now.

This is a heck of a game. We need to get a basket before half. I think our bench has been great.
