Correct the Cougars of Centennial High.

I was in Cancun with the women's team this year. They wear different outfits in Cancun than they do on the court or on campus. I'm just saying.....

    Beat Purdue.

Fine, I will be the first one to say it. I sure hope they Purdont. because SDSU is going to do it.

I've picked the Jackrabbits by eight. Watch the senior leadership!

Not feeling good about this years team in the tournament. Our lack of a true, quick experienced point guard will be exposed by most tournament teams.

What I feel good about is that Purdont is not a really big high scoring team, we use to be that team but we not mangage good shots and try to limit turnovers. Just like how the men matched up well IMO to keep pace with Baylor, I feel our women have a chance to stick with and possibly upset Purdue. Just wish it wasnt on their home court.

The key will be getting off to a good start offensively. Digging a 17 point hole ( or even 10 or 12 ) will not work out like it did in Sioux Falls.

                          Upsets to watch for

                          (13) South Dakota State over (4) Purdue (first round): The Jackrabbits will have their work cut out them on Purdue's home floor, but the Boilermakers are not invincible in West Lafayette and are prone to offensive struggles. Purdue is not a good shooting team -- and that's a South Dakota State strength.

In actuality, it probably means nothing, but I'm liking the "under the radar" tone with this game. Maybe some magic will happen in Indiana.

It is pretty cool that we have the opportunity to watch another SDSU Tournament game tomorrow. It should be a good one if the women come out of the gate hitting shots. I agree with the others that this will be the key to a close game.

The tourney experience of the women has to be a real advantage...the hoopla involved, the media attention etc., is old hat to the Jackrabbits. I don't think this 13th seed beating a 4th seed should be called an upset. We play our game and it's going to be a great contest: SDSU 68, Purdue 61.

wanna go with the jacks, really do--------but, beating purdue AT HOME, would be a huge win! i've watched a number of purdue's home games, and, while they are not a really good team, i just believe they will be awful tough to beat at McKay. plus, they haven't played a tourney home game in 4 yrs, i believe. it will be crazy in there! heart is with the jacks, but, my mind says Purdue 73 Jackrabbits 52. i really don't expect purdue to go very far---in fact, this would be their only win, imo.
