I was under the impression she tied Boese with her 3rd 3. Both at 300 (or 301)

That's what they said on ESPN.

one of her assistants wasn't bad either. ORU womens team had a student assistant that was really cute.

Congrats to the ladies for an amazing 4th championship. What a comeback. They had us moaning and groaning about rebounding and ugly 3-point shots for most of the game but clawed their way back in and outlasted an inspired UMKC team. Hall-Jones had one of the best games I've seen in a long time, drilling shot after highly-contested shot. She is fun to watch. The Argus reports that there were 11 ties and 5 lead changes in the final 5 minutes. No wonder I felt exhausted by the time it was over!

A line taken from an article at cbs.sports.com: http://www.cbssports.com/mcc/blogs/e...83066/35124411

"Oh, it is glorious. How do you not love a name like Jackrabbits? College basketball is better because one day long ago a bunch of men and women came together and agreed upon such a moniker."

The GoJacks.com write-up confirms that Jill tied Boese's mark of 301. She will break it when she hits her next 3 in the NCAA tourney.

Heiser and Boever combined to do an unbelievable job filling in for Paluch . That three that Gabby hit at the end of the first half really gave the Jacks momentum going into the locker-room.

I think that the 3 Boever banked in was huge. We were getting crushed in every aspect and I think that was one of the biggest shots of the game.

Agree it was a big shot. Gave SDSU some momentum. In a one point championship game you can make any basket at any time during the game as a big shot.

Just finished reading TV's live chat from yesterday. All the Twitter stuff added in is annoying, except for a couple from Kristin Rotert - she obviously isn't a big fan of female refs.

Were you talking about the assistant who was taken out on the loose ball scramble and ended up getting a bloody nose?

She's not a student assistant, actually a third year assistant. She is dating an ex SDSU grad in Tulsa.
