  • Oakland GDT

The schedule on GoJacks.com says tonight's game at Oakland starts at 6:30 EASTERN TIME.

Oakland (10-9; 6-4) have won four of their last five games. On Saturday, the Grizzlies beat NDSU in the OU O'rena, 68-52. 6-4 Center Brittany Carnago had four blocks in the game. OU's Bethany Watterworth lead all scorers with 24 pts and pulled in eight rebounds.

In the first meeting this season in Frost Arena, SDSU topped OU 62-52.

I don't see any idication that there will be a video feed at GoJacks.com. Hopefully someone will find one elsewhere and post it here. I have a feeling this game is going to be tough but getting a win would be a big deal in terms of locking in a top-2 seed. It would be great if both teams are playing on Saturday in Sioux Falls.

Those EST start times at Oakland usually get me. Thanks for the reminder!

Oakland recently lose Minifee, their starting point guard,to a season ending knee injury,so you would think that is something the Jacks might try to take advantage of.

5:30 tip our time. Oakland prides itself on staunch defense, especially inside. AJ was on WNAX this morning and he says the Jacks need to be more efficient on offense, shoot a better percentage and play 40 minutes of great defense.

Losing Minifee is a huge loss for Oakland. She plays 30+ min a game and averages 8 points from the starting point guard position. Certainly a break for the Jacks. I don't think they were a quality deep team anyway. Losing a starter of her quality is tough.

As long as our posts get their posts in foul trouble first which has happened the last few times we played them, I think we will be fine. Unless OU makes some big adjustments to counter act that, I think AJ making it a point to go to the post to get Carnago waterwoth in foul trouble should pay off as long as sunny and lingel dont get the cheap fouls first.

we cant hit a 3 for anything. Maybe they should ask oakland to wear NDSU uniforms.

Hmmm...only 3 team fouls for OAK in 1st half and no SDSU FT attempts...I guess we only had 5 team fouls though.

going through the post is not happening this game, we are the ones getting fouls not them, would be nice to make some more 3s.

Jacks tie it up at 32 with about 14 minutes to go.

Jacks have to hope that having a deeper bench will eventually pay off.
