Just checked on the ORU fan site and they are really down on both their team and coach. So much so that they think it will be an upset if they beat the Jacks on their home floor. Didn't expect to see that.

Re: ORU
a few weeks ago, i thot jacks had no chance at oru---will be tough, but, think they could pull out a close win. luper will get her points, as long as the 'd' doesn't let her go wild and hit 30+. if they can limit pyle, and, (shoot, other gal slips my mind) jacks will have a great shot.
as far as offensively, it will have to be one of their better games.

Re: ORU
It's alway's good to know the fan base of our opponent is a little "worried" about the outcome, but that being said,we still have to work hard and perform and be efficient at taking care of the ball and scoring to win.Teams typically fight harder at home ,so we have to match or ,better yet, exceed their effort. This game will go a long ways psychologically in the league as to who's perceived as the best. Will it matter when these two teams meet again in Brookings and if they meet in Sioux Falls? It might and it might not. That's a lot of time til then and we might be playing dramatically better or worse.I think you have to keep things at an even keel and steadily improve and perfect your weaknesses til they are no longer weaknesses.Come tournament time we should be clicking and be a very efficient and productive team with very few or no weaknesses our opponent can exploit. That alone puts a lot of pressure on them, our opponents ,that's what we want.
