  • Arkansas-Little Rock

First meeting of the Jackrabbits and the U of Arkansas-Little Rock. Tip off is 7:30 pm in Little Rock. Radio coverage on WNAX FM.
    Story on gojacks.com: http://www.gojacks.com/ViewArticle.dbml?SPSID=64545&SPID=7143&DB_LANG=C&A TCLID=205342678&DB_OEM_ID=15000

Here's the game story on the UALR website: http://www.ualrtrojans.com/ViewArtic...CLID=205342444

The Trojans won one game in (correction per Goon's factchecking...not last season as I earlier posted ) the 2010 NCAA Tourney, beating George Tech and then losing to Oklahoma, the team that beat the Jackrabbits.

This is a very-good opponent and it would be a great road win. We match up in size about the same.

      Goon's right...that was the 2010 tourney.
Goon you and I could be a pretty good team. You could check my facts and I'll check your spelling.

i expect this to be a tough match-up---seems to me, in my search, i read comments stating they are a pretty athletic team---running the floor well and quick. in the stats, i did notice that 5 players get the majority of the minutes---by far. the "6th" player had less than half the minutes the starting 5 had. i don't expect this to be any kind of disadvantage.

jacks will have to take care of the ball = low to's. if they do, could have a good shot at walking away with a big win.

I saw them play in Oklahoma in 2010 and that years team was extremely athletic, long, lean and quick. Jacks will have to be disciplined and make open shots. ALR will try to push the pace if there anything like the team in 2010. They beat Georgia Tech, the #6 team in the nation to advance in 2010. Doesn't necessarily mean squat for this years team.

Ga Tech was actually the #6 seed in that region, not ranked 6th nationally.

So far a competetive game as expected.
