The Jackrabbits have been blessed with a long string of 1,000 pt. players the last few years. But,is the well running dry? Will we have a year ,or two, where we don't have one?Jills a gimme for that honor, Sunnarborg should make it too. After those two, it will be a real struggle for the rest of the current roster to make it.Maybe with more playing time and a couple really huge scoring seasons......well maybe.Injuries played a part ,as well as lack of playing time due to AJ rotating players in & out alot.As long as the team wins and we don't struggle to score enough points to win,I could care less, except it's a little bit of an honor to hit that mark, for the players.Just thinking out loud during the slow discussion period during the summer months.

Re: 1,000 pt players
Jenne Sunnarborg should make it as she is at 758 points with 30 + games to get there. So if she averages 8 pts/game she'll be just over. Ketty C. fit this category. Jill has a reasonable shot of making top ten all time, but will need to average about 15 pt/game.
For the to be JR., Ashley Eide has 274, and Katie Lingle has 241. So they will need to average about 12/game for the close to 70 games to be played. And no injury TO.
Since Jill, the incoming frosh haven't been the huge scorers, and IIRC, no one else is over 100 points. So yes, it is possible that 2014 & 2015 may not have a 1K points player.
