Thanks to all three of the seniors for an incredible and historic run over their careers.
This season didn't go the way anyone expected but that certainly had to make the way it ended that much more satisfying. Another conference trounament win and a trip to the NCAA tournament for the thrid straight year which is something no other team has done in their first two, let alone three years of eligibility.
How spoiled are we as Jacks fans? Making the NCAA tournament for the women almost seems old hat at this point. These three ladies have set the bar pretty high for the future and have definitely put SDSU on the map across the country. Thanks for showing all of us South Dakotans that "yes we can" compete with ANYONE!
Not only are they great athletes but their accomplishments in the classroom are unmatched. Yes, we played the #5 team yesterrday but our team has been in the top 3 in the classroom for the last several years.
Special stuff indeed!
Best of luck to all three of you as you move forward into whatever path you choose. You have left a huge impact and will always be remembered as part of the group that started it all at the D1 level.
