I Hope there's a reasonable fee for this. If so, this may be the perfect answer for IU fans to see the game, at a low price, and from the comfort of their living room. :-*

Besides, since there is no coverage, and if the WNIT is paid through the fees and attendence, does this go directly to the SDSU bottom line?

Hopefully, tied into Scotty for play-by-play announcing. 8-)

There will be no charge. SDPB with some gentle prodding is putting it together as you read. It will be announced later this afternoon.

That is great. I am not a regular donater to them, but sure will now. I misunderstoof that they couldn't because of another SDHSAA event, but didn't think about this being live streaming and not TV.

I'll be at the game but my donation will be in the mail to SDPBS if this indeed holds true. Williams and Ree are funny but SDSU is the cheif around here (pun intended).

This would be tremendous, but I read a post in another forum citing an email from a source at SDPTV that said they just couldn't do it because both their equipment and manpower were contractually committed to another event.  

I really hope they can pull it off, but I'm just saying don't hold your breath.

They were responding to whether they could televise. But this webcasting. All the equipment is there and they are getting the details worked out now. Announcement to follow.

Excellent. Sorry for mis-interpreting what I read. I really hope you're right. I actually may have tickets lined up (waiting on a phone call), but if not this will be an excellent opportunity. Go Public Broadcasting...
