Ok, let's try this again. Realistically I don't know about winning this game...I just wanna see improvement...any improvement.

In it until about 4 minutes left, but Iowa runs away at the end 65-54, final. Jacks couldn't make the plays at the end of the game.

They got tentative instead of continuing to play the way they did the rest of the game. But,this should improve thier confidence playing toe to toe with the #15 ranked team in the nation for 36 min.All in all a good game. They need to take the shot more, instead of passing it off to someone in a less favorable position than they were to force up the shot or have to do something with the ball.Iowa does that much better, taking shots,& it payed off for them as some bounced around & in late in the game.Don't want to be picky, because they do look much ,much better. Now go blow Utah State out of the water.

            No Heiser against Iowa????

I think some of the players are battling respiratory issues - on the postgame video from Thursday night,Macie was coughing and had lost her voice. And yesterday,we sat behind the bench and Lingle could only play 3 or 4 minutes at a time, and she was grabbing at her chest and was obviously having breathing problems when she came out.

I hope not,but I did notice that jill and others seemed uncharacteristically out of breath at the pause in game action to shoot free throws.I just thought they were running harder than usual.I'm sure if there are problems, the staff would be aware and would take the appropriate steps to deal with it.I hope these troubles breathing don't linger around much longer,we need everyone healthy.

Finally made it to Frost for a game since early 80's. I love that place. The O'rena at Oakland U is a nice place but nothing beats Frost. At times it looked like Lingle was going to collapse and was laboring in her breathing. Over all a good game but they need a spark. Maybe Heiser could be that spark but we'll never know if AJ won't play her. AJ is a good coach and I don't question much of what he does but when it comes to not playing Heiser that I question.

It never to early to panic. If she can spark this team, then let her do it.
