Volleyball at Sam Houston State Tournament

The girls were in action today minus Tina Martin and Justine Olsen at the Sam Houston State Tournament. They lost the first match of the day against a tough Tulane team 3-1. The team won the second game earlier this evening against Louisiana Lafayette The Ragin’ Cajuns, unfortunately I don't have the info on that one. It is hopeful that Kristina will return to the team tonight and play tomorrow against Texas Pan American at 2 and host Sam Houston State at 7.

The Jacks convincing beat Texas-Pan American 3-0 (30-9, 30-16, 30-20). No matchstats are available yet of gojacks.com. One match left against Sam Houston State.

The girls take on Lamar tonight at 7 before returning home this weekend to host the Jackrabbit Invitational starting Friday night at 5 and ending Saturday night. The team is 5-3 on the year.

Jacks win tonight 3 games to 1 to move to 6-3 on the season. They were led by Angner with 17 kills and Emily Rooney and Amy Anderson with 11 kills.

Thanks for the updates, Bluehat. How come there was so much turnover in the offseason. The team must be pretty good, regardless.
