Big game at 430 today. Fun that we get to play in the Devaney and don't have to actually play Nebraska (yet). Miami is very very good but streaky. Hopefully we catch them on an off day. Zgonc said in an interview the pressure is finally off us the first time this season as the underdogs.

Van Egdom playing. First part of the set was good but Miami’s athleticism is unreal and they are getting kills left and right. Won’t win the first set but hopefully we find a rhythm and win the second.Comment

Jacks were up big and Miami comes back to win set 2, 25-23. We can play with them, need to just cut down on errors. Really would like to see us take a set!Comment

i strongly believe if we can play sound that Miami plays a risky enough style to take them selves out of it. their one big hitter, Colon I think, has very much carried themComment

dont think we are gonna pull off the miracle and come back in the 3rd. incredible excellent season for the volleyball girls!! I am not sure how healthy everyone was today? number of players did not look very explosive. Miami is more than solid and congrats to them. would guess the Jacks do not feel they played their best volleyball today. you would definitely like to go out of the tourney playing your bestComment

Tough loss. Main thing is, nobody expected us to have the season we had! Last two games of the season will sting but nothing to be sad about in terms of all the highs and records this year brought. I hope we return everyone including our coaching staff so we can continue to build our program and reach new levels.Comment

Jacks had a quite horrible year in 2023. hopefully that will mean that Coach Georgalas is not on the top of any hiring lists after one winning season preceeded by a season with single digit wins. that is obviously a big plus for the program!!Originally posted by GoJacks2011 View Post

Burr is the one that they better keep around. They need to schedule tougher next year with a great team returning, Georgalas got the team some confidence this year. Next year, they need to start competing early against the best in the country.Comment

Those P-4 games really test a teams metal at any time, when they play each other in Conference they get even more toughened up, by the time you play them in the NCAA Tournament, they are a bunch of grizzled veterans ready to go to war. This year was a very good experience, I hope we continue with our success and get back to the NCAA Tournament, after winning the Conference Tournament this time, for a second go-a-roundComment
