      And the Jacks win the match and the game after a game 3 victory of 30-28. 3-0 Jacks sweep in Montana... Way to go ladies, lets get another one tomorrow night.

        Jacks end Montana win streak at five

        South Dakota State hit .259 to defeat the University of Montana volleyball team Monday night, 30-21, 30-23, 30-28, snapping the Grizzlies' five-match win streak. It was the final home match of 2006 for Montana, which dropped to 12-11 with the loss.

        The Jackrabbits improved to 20-9 with the victory.

        The Grizzlies went out of conference to play the Jacks before playing at Sacramento State Thursday in their only other match of the week.

        The regular season concludes the following week with a road trip to Portland State and Eastern Washington. . . . (read more)

          SDSU ends slide with sweep of Montana

          MISSOULA, Mont. -- South Dakota State reached the 20-victory mark in volleyball for the 22nd time in school history, sweeping Montana on Monday night.

          The Jackrabbits won by scores of 30-21, 30-23 and 30-28 to improve to 20-9 and end a two-match losing streak. Montana dropped to 12-11.

          Kristina Martin paced the Jackrabbit offense with a match-high 16 kills as she hit .469 (16 kills, 1 error in 32 attempts) for the match. Amy Anderson contributed 10 kills and six block assists as she topped 100 block assists for the second consecutive season.

          Senior setter Kristie Klusaw contributed a solid all-around effort with 38 set assists, six digs and four blocks. . . . (read more)

            According to Steve on WNAX during the Men's B-Ball game, we beat Montana State 3-1. The Bobcats took game one and then the Jacks got rolling.

              A nice way for the ladies to finish up their road trip. Welcome them home to Frost arena on Saturday when they host NDSU on break the record night.
