Setter Diedra Artz is no longer with the team. That setter position could very well be the weakest spot on the team this year. 8 Freshmen and Redshirt Freshmen come into a Jackrabbit team primed to make a run at the Summit League Title and Berth in the NCAA tourney this fall. Andrew and Phil really like what they have coming in this fall. 10 girls taller than 6 foot gives the team a lot of height. The tallest of them Annie Adams 6'3" could be coming in with over a 30" vertical. I'm really looking forward to covering the soccer and volleyball teams this fall as the become the first teams in pursuit of a conference title of some sort. The four seniors and Emily Rooney have been together for 4 years and bring a lot of leadership to this underclassmen led team. The fun begins the 24th and 25th of August at the BADEN COUGAR CHALLENGE TOURNAMENT in Pullman, Washington against Portland, Northern Colorado and Washington State. Come cheer these girls on they will be an awesome team to watch this fall.
