Jacks top NDSU

A huge win for the Jackrabbits tonight at Frost Arena. Game Scores: 20-25, 25-10, 25-20, 29-27. SDSU drops the first set and then ran off a few huge runs in the second set to even the match. The Jacks controlled much of the third and game four saw a ton of lead changes. SDSU held off three game points to come back and win 29-27.

A lot more emotion from the squad compared to Tuesday's game vs. USD. The team got big contributions from Cornemann, Herrmann, and Klingemann to go along with the consistent play of Fiegen and Youngren. The defense was also as aggressive as we've seen all year.

NDSU really looked lost out there at times, especially after losing 5 in a row.

Have arguably the best schedule remaining, now that they've gotten over the NDSU "hump".Play offs looking more & more likely.Just head to head with ORU...(in three way tie for fourth play off spot with SUU & SDSU)(ORUhas to play NDSU yet and SUU has to play Oak & IPFW) In my humble opinion(possible?),whoever wins the head to head on Thur will be the winner of the fourth play off spot because ORU is one up in head to head games this year, winning the first meeting 3-1 I believe.
Even if they lose to NDSU & winning against the Jacks, they'll be tied record wise , but get the nod on head to head contests 2-0.So everyone go out & cheer for the Jacks at home.This is THE game!!!

Oakland could complicate things if they lost thier last two games,& SUU win out, but that's not likely.
