Jacks lead second game 6-1 according to Steve on WNAX.

Jacks had a bad top of the seventh inning, with three Jackrabbit errors, and a change in pitchers (Kiley Schwedhelm pitched five great innings, but ran into trouble in the seventh), and the Cyclones jumped on top 7-6. But in the bottom of the seventh, the Jacks got two runners on base, and with two outs, Dani Broshar lined a double to center field and the Jacks plated two to beat ISU 8-7!!

Just a reminder that SDSU lost to ISU in mid-season by scores of 12-5 and 15-7. But the Jacks showed how much progress they are making under Coach Lane, and played two great games (the first one went nine innings after the game was tied 0-0 at the end of seven, but ISU scored three times in the top of the ninth to win, and then the Jacks won the second one. Schwedhelm is the only senior on the team. GO JACKS!!!!

I saw Dani this morning on campus and congratulated her. She's walking on air today. Good for her. And congratulations to the softball team and Coach Lane.
