South Dakota State graduate assistant softball coach Tracie Adix signed a professional contract with the Chicago Bandits of the National Professional Fastpitch League this week.
“We already knew that Tracie brought the best of collegiate softball to our staff and it’s great to see her earn a spot on an NPF team,” said SDSU head softball coach Joanna Lane. “This allows Tracie to complete a full season with the Jacks before her professional duties begin and her involvement with the NPF will only help to bring more notoriety to the Jackrabbit program, which our kids are very deserving of. We believe Tracie's presence in practice from throwing BP for our hitter to being a mentor to our pitchers will only help to advance our program.”
