2019 Season

The softball team has had a nice start to the season sitting at 6-4 through the first two weekends. Pitching wasn't great, but the offense was as the Jacks are batting .402 as a team. Ali Herdliska broke the career homerun record on Saturday and has four total already.

Now 14-4, they have won 9 in a row. I’m not sure about the level of competition, but considering a few years ago this program wasn’t even winning 14 games a season, I’m optimistic about the start.

Definitely cool to see the softball team coming around. Would be sweet to knock ndsu off from the top of the Summit in another sport.

The Jacks go 9-1 over spring break and now sit at 19-5 for the season. Only loss came to Penn State who scored 3 runs in the seventh and won on a walkoff.

I'm impressed, glad we are turning around softball, impressed with what the coach and team have accomplished , but hoping they aren't satisfied yet, and keep getting better.Go Jacks!

When? Last year and potentially this year it will be IF they play at home.

The softball record to date is 19-5. The most recent win was against Central Conn. Upcoming on March 16 is a tourney in Omaha hosted by Creighton.

After sweeping both PFW and Creighton, the softball team now has back to back 30 win seasons! They currently sit at 31-12 (8-4) and have a good shot at the 2 seed for the SL Tournament.

The Jacks softball season still alive for 2019 season, being a participant in the National Invitational Softball Championship, sponsored by Triple Crown Sports , we play our opening game against E. Kty on 5-16 at 1 PM in the regional hosted in Ames, Ia.This is a 19 team Tournament comprised of four regions, we are in the Ames Ia regional along with USD, Purdue, E. Kty, and regional host Ia St.The full schedule Here. Yote board says all games streamed on You Tube! We have a pretty good team and Coach Woods continues to make strides with the program going forward. Go Jacks!!
