The statement, "coming out of retirement", could be interpreted in many different ways. In this case, it could mean AC went to play a simple game of pick-up ball (which he may or may not have done in a long time). I've heard people ask someone, "you're coming out of retirement and dusting off the old shoes?", to a person who hasn't been the gym in a while.

Another thought: Could it mean he might play elsewhere? I don't know what rules there might be about sitting out a year, etc. Here's hoping he's back next year.

I have to say, outside of a couple convos, I don't know AC at all. I might be completely wrong but the phrase "addition by subtraction" comes to mind. I know we have open schollies, I know we are shallow down low and we have alot of improvement to do...but....I see it best that AC just stays gone.

I think one has to be careful in not getting your hopes too high.AC's departure came as a surprise to everyone, i think we can agree on that.So, now we see a casual reference to "comming out of retirement" in facebook ,and from that we conclude that he's comming back to play basketball for the university's men,s team?That's only one possibility of many .Who's too say his mind will change again or not?Furthermore, it's got to be mutually agreeable to both parties involved (AC and the athletic department) before it becomes reality.It might be a bit premature to conclude he's comming back for certain.Although, it's alway's fun to speculate,i suppose.

Maybe his team-mates and coach's don't want him back? We do have two open scollies and I am hearing we are going to spend one on a JC kid yet this summer. It is always nice to have that extra scollie in case LaBron want to transfer from Cleveland....you know what I mean. An open scollie when someone is looking is very valueable.

If AC wants to come back, I for one would weclome him.

Being busy this summer keeps me off of here....but....AC, the criminal justice major has a full-time job. At State Pen as a guard I do believe. Best of luck to him in the future. FWIW, a good source does not see him suiting up ever again.

Man, why didn't Nagy ever try him at guard. That is obviously why he chose the State Pen over the Jackrabbits. He has been playing out of position his entire college career.

I heard that he wanted to play overseas. Mac said the same thing.

I would imagine the rumor is USF or even Augie since he'd be able to play everyday and b/c he lives here.
