very, very interesting....If true, let's hope his head and heart are into it this year. We definitely need him.

FWIW, his tweets (twitter) imply the same thing also.

Maybe more along the lines of his back is into it.
Over? Did you say "over"? Nothing is over until we decide it is! Was it over when the Germans bombed Pearl Harbor? Hell no!--Bluto--

AC would be a very welcome re-addition to the team, especially if he's reasonably healthy. It would be hard to find anyone, at this stage in the recruiting cycle, to make up for his size and back-to-the-basket skills. I hope he's coming back.

This was raised with TV on a chat not long ago and he put it as slim to none... But that would be great to have senior leadership in the post... he's respected by other coaches, teams, when he plays hard, right?

As much as I like TV and the time he puts into SDSU Athletics you have to take his posts on the chats with a grain of salt as it's rapid fire and many times its safe to assume it's his gut feel rather than a topic he has extensively researched like for a story he is writing. I wonder if AC getting healthy, inability to find another big man this late and the signing of Stephenson had anything to do with his decision to come back?

Time away from the daily grind can do wonders for one's outlook. We should all welcome AC back to the team, if that's the case, or encourage him to come back, if he hasn't decided yet. He seems to be a talented guy with potential on and off the court.

FWIW....the post on facebook has been removed. Maybe just have time away from the daily grind and watching playoffs on TV have him thinking.

My nephew walked away from college bball after two years and a good friend quit before his senior year when he would've been a starter on that USF team that was #1 all year. I told them both that they would really regret it someday when they were older.

It's not about that at all. It's about the experience, relationships. Being #1 at the NAIA level would be fun. My nephew for example had dreams of going higher than he did. I told him that just to play HS "A" hoops in SF was a great experience and to play in college and develop relationships, be part of a team, put on the uniform for 4 more years....no matter what the level, that is a privilege.

FWIW as well, TV's twitter notes that if AC is considering returning to the team, the coaches don't know anything about it. Seems to me that the first person he would tell about it would be the coach, not the FB world.

I am thinking the Coaching staff may not want to say anything about it one way or another until its a sure thing. Would AC be welcome back? The way he played later in the year last year was a disappointment. If he is healthy and in a good frame of mind he would certainly help us. From what I am hearing we are not currently recruiting a big man unless one falls in our lap. Maybe with all of the conference realinment that could happen. I do know we still expect to sign a JC 6ft 6in kid yet this summer. We need the help in the junior class. We do have two open scollies.

AC, I for one say welcome back and hopefully its true.
