It's more good passing by UNC than bad defense, I think.

Played a lot of BB, still do on occasion, good defense beats good offense most of the time. Defend the passer and the receiver and good passes become to's. Early season games need to carry a defensive focus, the offense will come. We have a number of talented guys who were probably the offensive focus on previous teams. These guys need to have the defensive game stressed and understand their roles. I know Nagy is as good as anyone at that. If that don't comply, they won't stick around. I can refer you to a few the last couple of years with nice O but ? D who are now gone.

Can't disagree, let me rephrase: We're not getting in their passing lanes so after a couple of passes and some good help, they finally get an outside shooter loose and are making us run to the shooter.

Still, 29-24 Jacks at the moment. Very entertaining game.

Game of runs, need to stop theirs and go on one of our own again.

Cadwell stepped up the D early, missing some of that now. Beran seems to be forcing things a little. When Cadwell needs a blow Casey needs to step up. Frias still sounds overmatched.

8-10 point run here should put them away. Starts on the defensive end. Burton on fire, keeping them in it.

Chance to cut it to 1 for the bears. Too many easy shots for Bears. Without Berte blocking some they would have even more easy buckets.

Either we make a run here or this game goes down to the wire. I just clipped my nails so I'd favor a Jack's run.

48 all at the under-eight minute time out.

Game's gotten really, well, bad. Turnovers, fouls, just generally ugly basketball. If Nagy can snap our guys out of it, I like our chances down the stretch. UNC's got lots of people with 3 fouls (one with four, I believe).
