    Re: College Hoops 2k6

NDSU/SDSU aren't in the football game because there are only a select number of Division 1AA conferences allowed in due to memory issues.

Aside from 70 players on 117 teams, along with all the Division 1AA teams, there just isn't enough memery within the game to go around.

I would expect that to change with the new systems coming out in PS3 and XBOX 360.

I always create NDSU so I don't know if I will get the new system for the game anyways, considering NCAA is pretty much the only video game I need. Just can't get enough of it for whatever reason.

    See Yuz.

I know I'm looking forward to next semesters loan check, xbox 360, that's gotta be more important than books.

If it is an issue of space on the disk, they could delete those "It's in the game" videos, and that would clear up a lot of space. It it is an issue of memory space, that should be easy to fix, just load only what you need at the time. If you are playing a dynasty, you don't need to have all the I-AA teams loaded. For example, next year Ball State plays NDSU, the game could load NDSU just when it needs to simulate that game.

          Yeah I don't know.

Everything in the game takes up memory, from all the lame mascot games, to the create playbooks, to the stupid "It's in the game" stuff.

And the dumb thing is those stupid side features actually command more attention from the overall market then all the D1-aa teams, that's why they are still in the game.

And what will happne next year if NDSU is still not in the game, when they play Ball State, it will just show up "D1-AA Midwest" on their schedule.

I can't imagine it not being in the new systems next year though.

you would have to load a D-1AA team up from D-1AA in dynasty mode before you start it. thats the only way to play a team like georgia southern or montana in a dynasty. the only reason why they have the D-1AA teams show up as "D-1AA Midwest" is because they dont concentrate on D-1AA. its a game mostly based on D-1A. but maybe in the future the game will get more in depth and D-1AA will have more features like, they're own stadiums. maybe D-1AA will have its own kind of dynasty play were you play in D-1AA and go into the playoff's get real good, then once you think your good enough you can bump your team up to D-1A and play with the big boys.

              Re: College Hoops 2k6

You can choose a I-AA team in a dynasty, but you have to replace an existing I-AA team to do it. For example, you could take NDSU, and put them in the Big Ten by kicking out, say Illinois. But that's not really playing a I-AA dynasty.

If you are playing a dynasty, and a I-AA team is on the schedule, the real team will be on the schedule if it is in the game. If not, one of the fake teams will be there. With the I-AA teams that are in the game, they don't simulate them well - all the I-AA teams seem to be pretty much at the same level.

Since you can load rosters, perhaps some fans who are good with stats could create more accurate simulations of the teams.

A Create-A-Conference feature would be great, let you play your conference's schedule.

For NCAA FB, It's all about money... EA makes that game for DI-A fans, not DI-AA fans. They play the market, and the market is Miami, Texas, Ohio ST, etc...

That's a BS copout by EA Sports. They did have a version (2000 or 2002) on the original Playstation that had ALL the I-AA teams on it. If they could fit an extra 50-60 I-AA teams on a CD-ROM based game, they can fit them on a DVD based game. It's been too long to remember, but I believe that Sony's NCAA Gamebreaker for the Playstation had all the I-AA teams on it, as well.
