After scanning the post "What's wrong with the Men's Team", I thought I'd post the following headline which will be in tomorrow's Washington Post (available on line tonight):
Patriots Leave Eagles Behind --
From Tip-Off, GMU Dominates American: George Mason 75, American 35
From the story: The Patriots (4-2) made six of their first seven shots while American missed 17 of its first 18. After six minutes, the score was 16-1. After more than 14 minutes, the score was 29-3. At halftime, it was 37-12. The Patriots' starters remained on the bench for most of the second half; by the end, even their top reserves were sitting with towels around their necks. The final margin was the largest in the tournament's history. American's 35 points were also the fewest scored in the event.
Those kind of games can (and do) happen to other teams too. Personally, I'm betting on Coach Nagy and as the year marches on, I think we'll see some nice victories. So, everyone just keep their shirts on.
