I'll give the guy that gave IUPUI their (1) #1 vote props. While I do think Oakland is really good, IUPUI IMO(that a lot of letters) has just as good of a TEAM.

With that said. SDSU can beat either of these teams any given night, especially at home/SF!!

If we jump 3 again next season, we will be Summit League Champs. Sounds good.

so this year, we go 8-0 against the bottom 4 teams. so we won the games we should have won. we go 1-5 against the 3 teams ahead of us and 1-3 against the 2 teams right below us. the dissappointing part was losing 3 home games. last year we lost only one. but its a new season starting sunday.

Last year we were 7-2 in conference at home. Lost to ORU and NDSU.

Here are the 3 season in the Summit

                          2007-08 - 10th Place
                          2008-09 - 7th Place
                          2009-10 - 4th Place
                          2010-11 - ? Place

Up 3 spots each season. I like the trend. . .

"Rome wasn't built in a day."

The trend curve has definitely turned up for SDSU men's basketball. But the step from #4 to #1 will be harder than the one from #10 to #7, or from #7 to #4.

As fans, we know what we have to do. Show up, cheer, be supportive of the coaches and players, donate money if we can, go around wearing SDSU gear, that sort of thing. And next year, work on making Frost Arena a real home-court advantage on Thursdays as well as on Saturdays. Not so much, really, but easier to say than to do.

If the new guys coming in can replace the two 1,000 point scorers who are graduating and continue to shore up the presence in the middle, then we should be competitive.

Meanwhile, I'd sure like to steal a couple of games down in Sioux Falls--that would give this year's team a .500 season record at 16-16. And who knows what could happen? Finishing 17-16 would make this a pretty good year, all things considered, wouldn't it?
                            "I think we'll be OK"

That is going to be a huge feat. Kai and Garrett have been very good players for the past 4 years. We can only hope the incoming freshman can play up to what Kai and Garrett have. Giant shoes to fill for those freshman.
Over? Did you say "over"? Nothing is over until we decide it is! Was it over when the Germans bombed Pearl Harbor? Hell no!--Bluto--
