    Not exactly an inspiring first half for the Jacks. Need to handle it a little better, play with more intensity on defense and stretch this lead in the first 10 minutes of the second half or we are in for a nail biter.
    I think you're right about the bad shots to end the half.

    Every time I can remember, we've thrown up a shot with a wing and a prayer to end the half. Seems like they take to long to start a play to end the half...they always wait until there is like 8 seconds left and always end up hurried....start with 10 or 12 secs and maybe we'd get a better look.

                Actually, the game was OK, but I'm going to have to think about a few really creative ways of calling out the students. Their turnout did not even rise to the level of pathetic tonight.

                Actually, they don't, but if I said what I really think, I'd have to ban myself.

                  We really shot well tonight. Defense and rebounding picked up in the 2nd half. SUU really doesn't have much for scorers. The fact they beat NDSU makes our 2nd half performane up there costing us that win even more disappointing. That was definitely a game where the Bison players just wanted it more and that is not acceptable.

                    Yep, all the belly aching they are doing about the USD game policy and paying so dearly for the activity fee, oughta fall on deaf ears.....

                      There ought to be 1,300 STUDENTS in attendance on any given night . . . no way that number should be the total number of souls in the building . . .

                        Nagy -

                        First half 52% shooting in first half and only up 3....not good defense...second half was better.

                        Inside game - Engen and Cordova played better.

                        Garrett played better

                        Kai played well, especially on the glass.

                        SUU's Baker - unique player, good ball skills...kept him off line.

                        3 straight home games....UMKC - good win tonight will help them saturday..we gotta play well

                        a lot can happen in the last 6 games....only worried about saturday and how the Jacks play each night...the rest will work itself out.

                        Kai bled on everyone.

                        Palarca played well.

                          Yeah, because no one has class, labs, big tests, club meetings, travel before this bad weather, illness, or maybe just maybe some students don't like sports... Gol what a strange world. For me I was at a class that is only offered every other year. In order to graduate I have to be at the class. Sorry for having priorities guys.

                            Not to start a huge thing, but the Game Day Thread for this game was started exactly 28 minutes before tipoff. I don't anybody was particularly excited about this game.

                            I think a lot of people were looking forward to the next two Saturdays and probably budgeted accordingly, not to mention the weather being a factor.

                            With that being said, there should be more people at games than what there were tonight.

                              I really can't pull off the Thursday or Monday night games. I try to get my 6 season tickets used by leaving them in Brookings. I work 6 or 7 days a week and it is a 2 hour drive. If I was in Brookings I'd be there, no excuses.

                                I don't know, there is over 9,000 full time students.... there is what around 2,000 students that live on campus. Yes there is a few hundred of them who have an 8:00 am lab tomorrow, and a few hundred who may be in class during or around the time of the game but its not like its Midterm week or final week, its not like you guys are playing Central Louisiana Southern Bible Christian University or anything you guys are playing a conference foe. Your team isn't horrible, heck they have a good chance of finishing top 3 in the league. Now I understand I don't go to SDSU, but if I did I would go to every basketball game....

                                Now maybe it has to do with promotion of the event or conflicting events..... What bothers me worse and I don't know if its true at SDSU but it seems that the students who don't show up to those games expect to be in the front row when they play the NDSU's and USD's
