Was tweeted on the ESPNColl_Hoops account as well

If you want to donate to Samaritan's Feet in Haiti you need to send a text message from a 605 area code cell. Otherwise, the donation is general

Will there be a drop box at the game? I'm not a big fan of texting numbers to donate money.

I texted my donation. I'm pretty sure it is a honest deal if coach Naggy is personally endorsing it.

Coach Nagy was at the Sioux Empire Staters luncheon today and I asked him if there would be a drop box and he said that there would be. However, through the charity the cost of a pair shoes is about $5.00. That is hard to beat, and if you text with a 605 area code, the money will be targeted to Haiti specifically. Other donations (mail, website, etc.) will be used in the same manner as last year and could go to any of the many deserving areas served by the organization. I think last year my daughter and I spent about 12-15 dollars per pair at Wal-Mart. I asked the question because I thought my and 9 year-old would want to get the actual shoes, but she said to send the money in as it will go farther.

Last year I brought shoes through the student entrance and they had a drop box for shoes there. If you wanted to donate money, going through the main entrance would be the best location for doing that. I believe they have a table set up for the donations there.

I noticed this morning that Scott Nagy's story was the first link on cnn.com.

The URL was Intriguing: Coaching barefoot for Haiti

When you open the link there are five brief stories about intriguing people of the week and Coach Nagy is one of them.
