Clint is on pace to hit 1000 points in 15 games if he continues averaging about 11 per game (he's at 829). Interestingly enough, the 15th game would be the second round of the Summit League tournament...

FWIW, if AC weren't slumping this season, he would have a decent shot at 1000 too.

This would give us three 1000 point scorers on the same team. Has this ever happened before?

I do think by the end of next year, there will be 4 1000 point scorers on the team. I looked at the list of 1000 point scorers and it looked to me like 1969 was the only time more than 2 players with 1000 points were playing at the same time (that year it was 3---John Thomas, Guy Mackner, and Gene Zulk). Plenty of 2 1000 points scorers playing together at one time.

Looks like Austin Hansen, Chris Stoebner, Ben Beran, Derek Schantz and Andy Moeller were all on the 2003 team and ended up scoring 1000 points in their careers but they didn't all have 1000 points at the same time. Jermaine Showers, Jason Sempsrott, Tom Rops, Ryan Naatjes, Pete Leiferman, and Cory VandeWettering all played together in 1993.

I went back through the threads and found the post from above I had made (everything above this sentence).
Over? Did you say "over"? Nothing is over until we decide it is! Was it over when the Germans bombed Pearl Harbor? Hell no!--Bluto--

Thanks bub, sorry for the repost.

I looked up some stats, and that team from the sixties scored over 89 points per game! Yowser, a different era and all that, but that is impressive. No 3 point shot, but they did average over 27 free throwattempts per game. That's a lot of points scored with a stopped clock.

Only reason why I knew there was a post was I made it about a year ago. Knew where to look for it too (took a few pages of threads but found it).

Just thought i would bump this up as Clint is 51 points away from 1000.

If he hits for average he should make it by the last home stand.
