Talked to Brayden Carlson yesterday (great kid, by the way). He said the men had an outstanding week of practice and that they expect to play well.

The only thing I know about Nevada is Luke Babbit. He was a McDonalds All-American in high school. Originally he committed to Ohio State and then changed his mind and decided to stay home at Nevada. He is from Reno. At least in high school he was a stud. I saw him play in high school in the Bay Area and he looked good, but got injured (concussion) and did not finish the game. He was the main reason I went to the tourney. He is tall (6'-8") and can handle the ball and shoot from the outside. He can post up his player also. Very tough matchup for teams.

Jacks are cold. Can't afford that--ever. They need to figure out how to come out of the locker room and make some shots at the beginning of a game on the road.

They lose road games in large part because they dig themselves huge holes in the first half--they can't hit the broad side of a barn in the first ten minutes of a road game.
